MUSETHICA: CHAMBER MUSIC AT SCHLOSS WIEPERSDORF

From June 7 to 15, 2025, a Musethica session will take place for the first time in the Niederer Fläming and Jüterbog region, in cooperation with the Brandenburg Summer Concerts. The week will conclude with a free public concert on June 15 at Schloss Wiepersdorf. The ensembles Beija-flor String Quartet (Austria) and Ensemble Finale (Israel) will perform a program featuring works by Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.

VOCATIONS – OPEN SPACE: SONGS AND VOCAL PRACTICES BASED ON POETRY

Vocations – open space will once again open its doors in 2025 on four evenings, providing a space for radically open and transdisciplinary experiments at the intersection of music, sound, and poetry. The first evening event is on June 9 at 6:00 p.m. With: Julia Rebekka Adler, Andrea Conangla, Tehila Nini Goldstein, Ariane von Graffenried, Rebeka Vanda Kupihár, Anna Julian Mendlik, María Negroni, Jascha Nemtsov, Fiston Mwanza Mujila, Liina Magnea, Valentin Schuster, David Odiase, Koleka Putuma.

Vocations – open space is an event series organized by Haus für Poesie in cooperation with Junge Akademie, Akademie der Künste, silent green Kulturquartier, the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program, and Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf and is funded by Hauptstadtkulturfonds.

SPECIAL EXHIBITION AT THE MUSEUM: EXPATUS

The museum of the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf presents the special exhibition Expatus, featuring a series of rugs by artist and former resident Igor Tereshkov. The exhibition runs through the end of September 2025. The museum and exhibition are open on Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., with free admission.

CAFÉ, MUSEUM AND PARK

The café in the Orangery and the museum at Schloss Wiepersdorf are now open again every Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The castle park can be visited all year round. Thanks to our open air “Kosmos Wiepersdorf” you can walk a tour on your own and get information via QR Codes.
