Together with its partner institutions, Haus für Poesie is celebrating UNESCO World Poetry Day with readings by six international poets. One of the six speakers is Matthias Nawrat, who was a fellow of the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf in the category of literature in 2024.

The Schloss Wiepersdorf Cultural Foundation presents Gerd Kroske’s documentary "Pride & Attitude", a film about former female East German industrial workers and the disappearance of utopias. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director.

As part of the PARATAXE event series, Berlin-based authors who write in languages other than German are presented – this time featuring the author, translator, and Wiepersdorf Fellow Lucy Jones, and the Georgian poet Bela Chekurishvili.

On May 31, 2026, 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., we cordially invite you to the spring festival! The museum, café and studio house will be opened to the public. We also invite you to join our cultural-historical tour, 'Cosmos Wiepersdorf,' through the castle park. The program includes readings, performances, music, and installations, as well as works on display in the studios by current and former Schloss Wiepersdorf fellows.
