In May 2023, Pussy Riot stopped off at Schloss Wiepersdorf for a few days between two concerts. One year later, the feminist protest and performance group from Moscow is returning to southern Brandenburg for their European tour Riot Days - Pussy Riot.

THE CLOSENESS OF DISTANCE – A Film by Nezaket Ekici

"The closeness of distance" - this is the title of performance artist Nezaket Ekici's one-hour film reflection on long-distance relationships.
The film, which is being shown in Berlin for the first time, was made in 2021 as part of a fellowship at the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf.

Małgorzata Sztremer, born in 1972 in Bytom, Poland, studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and then sculpture at the Saar University of Fine Arts, where she now works as a lecturer in painting and drawing. She lives in Saarbrücken.

Sztremer's solo exhibition entitled ENTKREUZUNG will open at the Saarländische Galerie in January 2024.

The exhibition was organised in cooperation with Kulturstifung Schloss Wiepersdorf.

VOCATIONS – REIMAGINING THE LIED

In April 2023, artists in Wiepersdorf explored the question of how the European tradition of the art song can be reimagined from a multilingual and international perspective. Composers and poets from the Berlin and Hamburg scene created art songs for the Vocations series, whose second premiere will take place at Heimathafen Neukölln again.
