Two international music ensembles on group fellowship at Schloss Wiepersdorf
Musethica e.V.
From June 7 to 15, 2025, a Musethica session took place for the first time in the Niederer Fläming and Jüterbog region, in cooperation with the Brandenburg Summer Concerts and the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf.
During this week, the Musethica e.V. will brought two international string ensembles to the area to perform more than 20 chamber music concerts in social institutions. The young musicians visited, among others, senior residences in Jüterbog and Steinreich, a transitional housing center for refugees and a hospice in Luckenwalde, the correctional facility in Luckau-Duben, as well as schools and kindergartens with special educational needs. During this time, the ensembles lived and rehearsed at Schloss Wiepersdorf and enriched the artistic life of the castle.
Two ensembles lived and played in the region: the Beija-flor String Quartet from Austria (Haruna Shinoyama, Tobias Aan, Samuel Poblete, Guilherme Moraes) and the Ensemble Finale from Israel (Victoria Gelman, Omer Herz, Leikie Glick, Gali Knaani). Musethica founder and violist Avri Levitan and cellist Konstanze von Gutzeit accompanied the musicians as mentors. The two ensembles gave a free, public final concert at Schloss Wiepersdorf.
