As we draw to a close an eventful year with visits from many children to the children's studio, as well as scholarship holders and guests from all over the world, we would like to thank all our supporting and partner institutions, all visitors to the museum and our events, and all scholarship holders and guests who helped shape our extensive program.

RESOUNDING BRIDGES

An international advent concert for tolerance and against misanthropy and anti-Semitism will take place on December 9 at 7:00 p.m. in Potsdam. Wiepersdorf literary fellow Luna Ali will also be taking part by reading a short story. Also, there will be a variety of ensembles, from choirs to swing bands, from classical to folk.

The Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf is inviting you to the traditional Christmas concert on the 4th Advent, Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the park of Schloss Wiepersdorf.
Musicians from the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt (Oder) play Christmas carols, classical and modern melodies.

GROUP FELLOWSHIP: DISKURSZONE OST
The association Perspektive hoch drei (Perspective Cubed) and its cultural, scientific, and publishing projects bring together people who have a special interest in eastern Germany with all its relationships, upheavals, and sentiments. The association emerged from the initiative Dritte Generation Ostdeutschland (Third Generation East Germany), which first attracted attention 15 years ago. On November 15 and 16, 2025, the group held its “Diskurszone Ost” event at Schloss Wiepersdorf.

MEDIA LIBRARY: LECTURE ON WOLFGANG HEISE

On 28 September 2025, Wiepersdorf fellow Lukas Zittlau gave a lecture in German commemorating Wolfgang Heise, who was one of the most important philosophers in the GDR, on the occasion of his 100th birthday, offering an introduction to his life and thought. For those who were unable to attend, you now have the opportunity to listen to and watch the presentation in our media library.

BOOK RELEASE: BERLIN ABC BY TANYA PIONIKER
Following the example of Ilya Kabakov's ABC primers and the avant-garde group OBERIU, former Wiepersdorf Fellow Tanya Pioniker (Fine Arts) developed a primer that explores Berlin from the perspective of newcomers: the experience of a new place of residence goes hand in hand with learning a new language.

CAFÉ, MUSEUM AND PARK
The café in the Orangery and the museum at Schloss Wiepersdorf are closed during the autumn and the winter time.
The castle park can be visited all year round. Thanks to our open air “Kosmos Wiepersdorf” you can walk a tour on your own and get information via QR Codes.
