Code of Conduct

The Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf promotes art, culture, and science through an interdisciplinary and international residency program. It awards fellowships to individuals and groups from the cultural and academic fields. It organizes events with fellowship holders and guests in the house, and also with partner organizations.

The Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf thus brings together a diverse community of guests from different disciplines and from all over the world.

A stay at Schloss Wiepersdorf requires compliance with applicable law, in particular the General Equal Treatment Act. Based on this framework, the following code of conduct defines how we live and work together.

The Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf does not tolerate any form of discrimination or oppression, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, racism, or any other form of hostile statements or symbols. Respect for individual boundaries apply regardless of age, gender, status, origin, appearance, disability, and conviction. The point of lines being crossed is defined by the person concerned. The person affected defines what constitutes crossing a boundary. The use of derogatory language, any form of harassment, insult, or threat, as well as the use of verbal or physical violence, will not be tolerated on the premises or at events of the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf.
