Like many of her colleagues, the writer Christa Wolf engaged with German Romanticism and its authors in the 1970s. The literary scholar and Wiepersdorf fellow Tabea Lamberti presents this aspect of Wolf's thinking and writing. In addition, the studios of Frauke Eckhardt and Paula Müller will be open to the public.

An illustrated evening lecture by Dr. Barbara Steingießer on the Journal of Luxury and Fashion (1786–1827), which, with its hand-colored prints, was Germany’s first illustrated magazine and at the same time the country’s first regularly published lifestyle and fashion periodical.

MUSETHICA – Chamber Music at Schloss Wiepersdorf

In cooperation with the Brandenburg Summer Concerts, a Musethica session will take place for the first time in the Niederer Fläming and Jüterbog region from June 7 to 15, 2025. During this week, the Musethica association will bring two international string ensembles to the area to perform over 20 chamber music concerts in social institutions. The week will conclude with a public concert by the musicians at Schloss Wiepersdorf on Sunday, June 15.

Spring festival in Schloss Wiepersdorf

On May 25, 2025, 2:00 to 6:00 pm, we cordially invite you to the spring festival! The museum, café and studio house will be opened to the public. There will also be presentations on the stage in front of the castle. The program includes readings, performances, music, installations and open studios involving current and former Schloss Wiepersdorf fellows.

This year, on International Museum Day, 18 May, the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf is organizing a ca. 20 km bike tour from Wiepersdorf through the “Ländchen Bärwalde”. On cycle paths through fields and forests, historical places will be visited together.
