Schloss Wiepersdorf featured on ZDF

In early July, ZDF presenter Peter Twiehaus and his crew visited Schloss Wiepersdorf for the documentary feature "Artist Couples: Bettina and Achim von Arnim."

The short feature is part of the MOMA Summer Tour, which this year explores the tracks of famous artistic couples who inspired one another. To shed light on Bettina and Achim von Arnim, the team - comprising Peter Twiehaus, Lotta Sahlstedt, Roland Rippl, and Till Gabriel - stopped at Schloss Wiepersdorf, the Bärwalde castle ruins, and Schloss Ahlsdorf. Roswitha Karbaum from the Cultural Foundation was available for interviews, along with Wiepersdorf fellows Dennis Schäfer and Gerhardt Müller-Goldboom.

Among other things, the crew covered the rehearsal for the event "Bettina von Arnim's Musical Worlds", which took place on July 12, 2026, at the Museum of Schloss Wiepersdorf. Pianist Gerhardt Müller-Goldboom, together with soprano Gabrielle Ferrari, performed compositions by Bettina von Arnim, accompanied by brief presentations on her life and work by historian Dennis Schäfer.

The report will air on Thursday, August 20, 2026, on the ZDF-Morgenmagazin and a week later on Thursday, August 27, 2026, on the ZDF-Mittagsmagazin.
