New Fellows at Schloss Wiepersdorf
An independent jury has selected 14 fellows from the fields of art and scholarship who will take up three-month residencies at Schloss Wiepersdorf between March and November 2026. The fellowships are funded by the State of Brandenburg as part of its institutional support for the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf.
In the past year, the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf received more than 1,000 applications from 85 countries. The following fellows were selected:
- Humanities and social sciences/history of the previously divided Germany: Lukas Doil, Deborah Fallis
- Humanities and social sciences/Romanticism: Nico Karge, Olha Lihus, Dennis Schäfer
- Literature: Lucy Jones, Roee Joseph, Susanne Schädlich
- Visual arts: Eva Susova, Joscha Steffens, Taslima Ahmed
- Composition: Pierre Fourré, Harald Muenz, Naomi Pinnock
The jury for the 2026 cohort included Prof. Dr. Iwan-Michelangelo D’Aprile and Dr. Saskia Fischer for the field of humanities and social sciences, along with Dr. Danilo Scholz and Dr. Daniel Kubiak; Dr. Matthias Weichelt and Dr. Brigitte Helbling for literature; Katia Reich and Dr. Christine Heidemann for the visual arts; and Heike Hoffmann and Jens Schubbe for the field of composition.
