Group Fellowship for OSTKREUZ – Agentur der Fotografen
From June 25 to 28, 2026, the curatorial team from OSTKREUZ – Agentur der Fotografen spent four days at Schloss Wiepersdorf on a group fellowship, working on the concept for the upcoming exhibition "Was tun wir. Bilder in Zeiten zerfallender Gewissheiten" (What Are We Doing. Images in Times of Crumbling Certainties). The exhibition will be on view from August 29 to November 8, 2026, at the Robotron Kantine in Dresden, a venue operated by Kunsthaus Dresden.
Featuring both current and historical works by 25 OSTKREUZ photographers, the exhibition addresses vital questions for today's uncertain times: What responsibilities do photographers bear today, and what kinds of images can make ongoing ecological shifts and social transformations visible?
Following its run in Dresden, the group exhibition will travel to the ZAK – Zentrum für aktuelle Kunst in Berlin-Spandau in fall 2027, and to Port25 in Mannheim in spring 2028 as part of the "OFF/FOTO" festival.
