STAUFFENBERGS TASCHE (Stauffenberg’s bag) / Group fellowship
In August this year, Ellen Kobe, artist and curator in Berlin and Potsdam, was a guest at Schloss Wiepersdorf with a performance group to work on her new project STAUFFENBERGS TASCHE (Stauffenberg’s bag).
STAUFFENBERGS TASCHE is a performance project that refers to the last assassination attempt on Hitler on July 20, 1944, which will be the 80th anniversary in 2024.
The performance shows a location visit for a fictional film at an original location, the Löwenvilla in Potsdam, where the conspiratorial meetings for "Operation Valkyrie" took place and the explosives for the assassination were hidden at the time.
The performance is scheduled to be staged in 2024.
