SAVE THE DATE
ENTKREUZUNG (DECROSSING)
by Małgorzata Sztremer
Opening: Thursday, 11 January, 2024, 6:00 p.m.
Saarländische Galerie
Free admission

The visual artist Małgorzata Sztremer, born 1972 in Bytom, Poland, was a fellow at Schloss Wiepersdorf in 2022.
Her figurative paintings have a narrative effect, blending detailed depictions and abstraction. As if in a kind of montage, different influences from fairy tales, myths and science, elements from memories come into contact with pictorial elements from other art eras and merge into a disconcerting, enigmatic, abstract and at the same time very concrete pictorial world. These intermediate worlds are the artist's painting spaces.

Sztremer's solo exhibition entitled ENTKREUZUNG will open at the Saarländische Galerie in January 2024.

The exhibition was organized in cooperation with Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf.

Exhibition duration: January 11 until February 24, 2024
