Das liebe freie Land – Presentation by “Gefüge für interdisziplinäres Arbeiten”

“Das liebe freie Land” (the dear free land) – a quote by Sarah Kirsch – serves as the central motif for a gentle and permeable gaze upon the open landscape. For nine days, the group “Gefüge für interdisziplinäres Arbeiten” (Structure for Interdisciplinary Work), comprising artists from visual arts, performance, and puppet theater, will explore the region around Schloss Wiepersdorf, accompanied by Sarah Kirsch’s landscape poetry.

Drawing on the materials offered by the landscape at this time of year, new works are created. Nature is understood not merely as a motif, but as a starting point for an immediate and multi-voiced engagement with the site. On August 30, the group invites all interested visitors to discover the first results of their project.
