Castle and Museum
The museum in the castle is wheelchair accessible. A mobile ramp can be used to reach the wheelchair lift, which leads up to the level of the museum. Only one room of the Museum cannot be accessed, because the door is too narrow. Information in Braille is not available.
Park and Café
The park and the Café in the Orangery can be accessed by wheelchair. There are accessible restrooms in the Orangery.
Tour Kosmos Wiepersdorf
The QR code-based tour in the palace park can be visited by wheelchair. The paths are passable, the information boards are placed low. Information in Braille is not available.
Tankhalle
The event space “Tankhalle” is wheelchair accessible via ramps.
Studio space
The studio space in “Atelierhaus” provides a fully accessible entrance that can be used to access all studios.
Fellows
For artistic and scientific fellows with limited mobility, a wheelchair-accessible apartment is available, as well as access to the dining rooms via the ramp to the castle and the wheelchair lift.

The Schloss Wiepersdorf Cultural Foundation is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously improve user-friendliness for everyone and apply appropriate accessibility standards.
This Digital Accessibility Statement applies to the websites published at www.schloss-wiepersdorf.de and kosmos.schloss-wiepersdorf.de, as well as their mobile versions.
As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we strive to make our websites accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Brandenburg Equal Opportunities Act for People with Disabilities (BbgBGG) and the Brandenburg Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BbgBITV) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
According to Section 2 of the BbgBITV, websites and apps are assumed to be accessible if they meet the requirements of the harmonized European Standard (EN) 301 549 (in its current version). EN 301 549 refers to the requirements of the international standard Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) with conformance levels A and AA. These requirements form the core of the verifiable success criteria.

- The majority of videos, even on the English-language website, only have German subtitles.

Enforcement Procedures
If you do not receive a satisfactory response or no response from the above-mentioned contact option within three weeks, you can contact the Enforcement Body for Digital Accessibility of the State of Brandenburg to review the information and measures stated in the Accessibility Statement. According to Section 4 (3) of the BbgBITV, the Enforcement Body is responsible for enforcing citizens' rights to accessible websites and mobile applications vis-à-vis public bodies in the State of Brandenburg.
The Enforcement Body examines the applicability of enforcement proceedings from a formal and substantive perspective and, in individual cases, orders a technical review of the website or mobile application by the Monitoring Body for Accessibility of Web and Application Technologies in the State of Brandenburg. The enforcement proceedings are free of charge. Legal counsel is not required.
