The Schloss Wiepersdorf Spring Festival will take place this year on Sunday, 26 May, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The programme includes lectures, readings, concerts, performances and exhibitions.

The programme includes a lecture by author and journalist Rocco Thiede on the life and work of painter Caspar David Friedrich, a performance of an acoustic collage by artist and radio playwright Carsten Schneider and a reading and discussion with Hungarian writer Attila Bartis. In addition to a special exhibition by artist Małgorzata Sztremer in the museum, works by Fides Becker, photographer Matthias Klos and other fellowship holders of the Cultural Foundation will be on display in the Atelierhaus. There will be live music from the band Momofitz and former fellows playing the grand piano in Wiepersdorf Castle Park and stalls with products from the region.

The Café in the Orangery, the restaurant "Zum Berg" from Schlenzer and the "BBQ Bulls - Grillspezialitäten" and others will be offering a wide range of food and drinks. Admission to the Schloss Wiepersdorf Spring Festival is free.
