75 years after the Second World War, the Brandenburg documentary film director Sebastian Eschenbach devotes himself to the history of the village of Wiepersdorf and its castle in Lower Fläming. In his video installation, he explores social, historical, geographical, political, artistic and human spaces in the in-between. The memories of the contemporary witnesses roam the site, always in motion, overlapping, concealing, affirming or contradicting each other. The result is a parallel montage with a very special kind of dynamic.

A film by Sebastian Eschenbach, Britta von der Behrens and Thomas Malz. A production of the Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf
